Not quite a NaNoWriMo winner

OK, OK, as my right sidebar attests, I fell short of 50,000 words in 30 days when I participated for the first time ever in NaNoWriMo this year. That’s OK, though, because I was still above normal on my creative productivity scale. So I count it a personal victory.

Believe me, I’m not setting EMBER aside any time soon. I’m still plugging away at it. In fact, starting in January, I’ll be part of an all new (but less frenetically-paced) writer’s challenge called A Round Of Words In 80 Days. In fact, I’m even going to be a writer/sponsor of the event, thanks to ace organizer Kait Nolan.

So keep coming by and continue to watch me squirm as I try to meet my productivity goals on the journey toward getting EMBER written. At least 80 days is more realistic and the goals will be my own!
